The Encounter of Physics XI, or XI Encuentro de Fisica, will be held at the Escuela Politecnica Naciocal on the 16th of November 2009, from 9 am to 5:30 pm, in Quito. It is an event that is organized by the Physics Department of the Faculty of Sciences of the National Polytechnic School. During the expo, there will be a host of fascinating workshops and conferences for visitors to attend.

The expo will cover a variety of subjects to promote physics and science with the youth, and to develop interest in this department. Some of the topics to look forward to include Medical Physics, Biophysics, Theoretical Physics, Quantum Computing, Particle Physics and Econophysics.
