Well, I've got to say that I don't know any charitable organizations in Ecuador. To be honest there is SO much they need that I always fantasize of winning the lottery and building rows of housing in which families can live instead of "shanty" alternatives. I went there not so long ago and I couldn't believe that anyone could live like that but there it was in front of me...a bunch of living areas composed of aluminum...something.

For now the only advise I would give anyone looking to do some good in Ecuador is donating to Doctors Without Borders to see if we can bring some contraceptives there. When I went last time all you saw all over the newspapers was how someone brutalized, raped, or simply killed a baby/child/teen. I used to love going to Ecuador and now I really can't see myself going back other than to visit the few family members I have there.
