bares, discotecas, etc???

HOLA!!! Soy de Ecuador pero he vivido en los EEUU por casi toda mi vida. Siempre viajo a visitar familia pero nunca he ido a bares ni discotecas. Este ano voy a llevar a una amiga y quisiera saber cuales son los mejores, mas caros, mas sofisticados, mas seguros, mas bonitos, mas divertidos, etc...Por afvor, si tienen ideas, escribame! Gracias!!

I'm not from Ecuador, but I lived in Quito for 8 months as an exchange student, and I went to my fair share of discotecas. Cerebro I've heard is a really cool one, I've heard one of the best. I've never been there myself, but I've heard nothing but good things. If you love to dance the salsa the best place to go is Seseribo on 12 de Octubre and Vientemilla. It generally has an older crowd, but is for serious salsa dancers -- it was one of my favorite places to go. The bars on Amazonas and around that neighborhood are fun, they're full of gringos, but hey, maybe that's why I had fun there. There's a ton of little bars and clubs there, although it's not a good idea to be out past about 12 or 1 in Amazonas.

Last time I went to Seseribo on 12 de Octubre and Vientemilla...nice place.
