Hope to relocate to Ecuador

I am new here and could use assistance from people that have traveled to Ecuador. I am disabled from 2 back injuries and take medication for chronic pain. I have been trying to find out if my medications will be available in Ecuador. I don't know if there are pharmecies similar to what we have in the US. I contacted the drug manufacturers and have communciated with two couples that currently live in Ecuador. If I can't get my meds, there is no point in me traveling there. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

i am from the philippines and would like to find out what my chances are of going there and finding work, i have an experience working in the orthopedic institute as an assistant to the Physical Therapist as well as an orthopedic surgeon. i hope to find a job there someday or somewhere but here in our country.
