Greetings,
My Name is John Hardin, I live in the State of Texas of the United States. As a hobby I collect military rifles from other countries. I purchased a Model 1888 Commission rifle #1629 that was imported from Ecuador. On the wood stock is a presentation plaque that reads: EJERCITO ECUATORIANO LA FUERZA TERRESTRE AL SR. CRNL. TEC. LUIS MEDINA GUEVARA En recomocimiento a la Institucion QUITO AGOSTO DE 1994 I thought it would be interesting to find this man. My only motive is to learn more about my rifle's history. I do not speak Spanish and do not have any other contact in Ecuador that can help me. I have a friend who is helping me translate. Can anyone help me locate this person. http://www.texastradingpost.com/LuisMedina.jpg http://www.texastradingpost.com/rifle.jpg Thank you, John Hardin Johnh@texastradingpost.com John Hardin 2632 Dixiana Dr. Farmers Branch TX 75234-6204 USA |
