When Peru invaded Ecuador in 1941, there was no international reactions against the invasion. I understand that the world was engulfed in total war, so the resultant outcome of some far away place as Ecuador is unimportant. I want to know what can be done now by the same countries who favored the taking of large portions of land by an agressor nation?

Angry Retaliation

I believe that an agrresor country such as Peru must pay its consequences for attacking such a marvelous country as ECUADOR. Our country is in state of chaos and what we need is someone to divert all of our anger to, all of our problems. What better place then our enemy!!!!

Estimado Parismario,

Angry

I think that violence against peru is unneccesarry. Ecuador has enuogh problems as it is with out worrying about invaiding peru to take back the amazonian land stolen in 1941. I say that ecuador should sort out its political mishaps instead of rushing off to war with peru! what is to be gained through retaliation?! lost land makes no differance! as long as people still have a place to live that I say don't start a war. Even if the Ecuadorians were to take back the land, it would still be mostly uninhabited! nobodu wants to live in the middle of no where. And if someone did ythey would be plowing away the rainforest to make space for a house. DONT GET INVOLVED!!!!!!
