I would like to find out about the different kinds of Spanish accents in South America and how they are compared to continental Spanish. I will be in South America this summer to start studying Spanish. Where would be a good place to do so? Any kind of help or suggestion would be most appreciated.

Try some of the Spanish schools in Quito. Very interesting may be to learn about Quichua as well. Some schools teach that too!
