Several years ago I heard Ecuadorian mountain highland music on Public Radio here in the United States. It was so good I had to stop my car in order to write any information provided by.the radio program's host (Lisa Levy). She emailed me the following:

"I have good news and bad news. The good news is that i CAN identify the piece you want...(Enrique Males, the tune Mama Carmen). The bad news is that I am pretty sure you will NOT be able to purchase it here in the United States. I bought the CD from my home country, Ecuador, when I was there last. But try on the Internet perhaps".

I have never found this music. I hope somebody will help me. I will gladly pay of course.
