Soo sad about her...

Hi all,

I started dating a beautiful girl from Ecuador at my job. She has been here for about 5 years. She got out of a 2 1/2 year relationship about 3 months ago. We have been dating for about a month, although we were friends for longer, just strictly friends.

Over the past month we have gotten really close, and I know it scares her a lot. Last night she told that she is going back to her country, Ecuador. She says she misses her family and friends, and the culture. She told me how much she cares about me, but that she feels its her time to go home to her country.

I am really falling in love with her, and I am so saddened by this, I feel more helpless than I ever have in my life. She would love for me to move to Ecuador but it's just not feasible for me, I have a nice job and everything, I am your average american nice guy.

I just don't know what to do now, I don't think I can change her mind, even though she is really falling for me, as I am with her.

Any advice on how I should handle the situation? Thank you for listening.

well dude being myself I would move over there! dude love is hard to fine!...but! women come and go, you have supprot yourself too. I would suggest if you don't want to look for another girl. Save up enough money and then move over there. If you are willing to look for another girl well then dude, let her go and don't look back!

If you both really really "love" eachother..you'll both find a way to satisfy both of your needs..Ecuador is a good country to live in..if you play it smart you could live good down there ... If you were to go and apply for a good job in your field.. they will surely hire you.... But it all comes down to if you feel comfortable living there...maybe at 1st it'll seem weird...but later you'll like it.. or maybe you'll even miss your family too.. who knows...You both should be open and honest about your true feelings on this situation....

Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it. I'm not sure how easy it would be for me to get a job over there. I graduated in MIS(computers) here in the US. But now I work as an Internet Marketing Manager. This girl is simply amazing, pretty much everything you could ask for in a woman. I will be honest, at one point in my life I wasn't open minded to meeting foreign women, but I found that maybe they are diamonds in the rough, im sure not all, but some. It really opened my eyes to other cultures, and I really appreciate it a lot more now. If nothing else, she taught me a lot about life. I am going to miss her more than I can explain.

I bet you will miss her.....but you never know...do you believe in destiny???? Who knows... if you get separated destiny will bring you back..... life has it's mysteries every now and then..... that's how I met my girl of my life....it's a long story to tell... maybe when I don't have nothing else to do i'll write it......Sometimes you have to face reality too .... reality is a b-itch.....Maybe she will end up going back to Ecuador and the two of you will go your separate ways....am sure you both will keep in touch, right? .......You just have to expect the unexpected

am sure, since you have a degree from the US, you'll find a job in your field.... your degree counts more from the US than it does from Ecuador...
