Studying in Ecuador

I need a advice.
I have 10 years old boy, which is finishing his 6 grade in middle school. Through summer 2000 we would like to travel to Ecuador to learn some Spanish . I also would consider to enroll him at school in Ecuador [for year or so]. We live in Arkansas ,and are USA citizens. Any suggestions will be appreciated.
