First time in Ecuador

I have never been outside the united states before, born and raised in souther california. I am going to Ecuador on November 21st to see my fiance who i have not seen in nearly 4 months now. She lives in Quito, i am looking for a romantic resturant or something else that would be a nice suprise for her. I have already made plans for us to spend one night in Banos at a nice hotel. If anyone has any ideas for a romantic gettaway that is near Quito or in Quito that is not too expensive, please let me know. Thank you for your time.

you are already going to banos that is a nice place. take a nice walk in the park look at the waterfall (you'll see it when you get there it next to a pool) you can even go up under the waterfall! oh I also suggest "La mitad del mundo" that is a great place the equatorial line pass straight down there they even have the line drawn in. oh oh and also try going to la tacunga its a small little town my family lives there, but it a great place but it 2 hours away from Quito but it well worth the trip.

oh and a word of wisdom try to to stay out to late you don't wanna get robbed! well if you look like a gringo (white person) then you are a target but if you look hispanic don't worry just try not to wear anything to fancy!
