Hi All,

I wonder if you might be ale to help me with some research? I am researching the Orson Welles radio broadcast of The War Of The Worlds, that caused a massive panic in 1938 America. I believe something like this happened in February 1949 in Quito when the play was reproduced. I would like to track down some evidence for this.

Can anyone help at all. Apparently it got pretty bad, with a newspaper office burnt down and some deaths. I'd love to try and track down some original newspaper stories from the time, so if anyone has access to a local library in Quito and can help with translations, that would be be amazing.
