Hello everybody!
From what I have been reading in these forums, there is a lot of interest from you people in my beloved country, and unfortunatelly, a lot of misinformation also. I am a well educated ecuadorian, who has born, raised, studied, married, and currently LIVES in Ecuador (most precisely in Guayaquil, for which I am very proud of), so I offer myself to you people to try to fulfill all your information needs about my beautiful and cool country. So, people, post your questions, and I´ll put myself on try! |

Hi my name is Gene Thompson. What is your name ? You are right, there is some misinformation out there about Ecuador and some people don't even know where Ecuador is. I am married to a super nice lady from Guayaquil. We have been going to Ecuador for the last 16 years. Last year we made three trips to Ecuador. As I am sure you already know, the people of Ecuador are some of the nicest people in the " World " . The "Malecon" sure looks nice , it looks much better than it did 16 years ago when I first went to Ecuador. We would like to send you some photos, please give us your E-mail and we will send them to you via E-mail. I took some photos of myself and my family in Manta and we would like to send them to you . Hope to hear from you soon. "Chao" Gene & Alba Thompson P.D. my E-mail is: gene_ecuador@hotmail.com |

This is my second reply to you, I just had to send a second one and tell you what a great job you did with your answer to "Spitz" and his problem with Gorillas in Ecuador. That was a super answer you gave to him. Keep up the good work ! Please send us a E-mail at: gene_ecuador@hotmail.com Gene & Alba |

Hi dear all,
I'm from Guayaquil, Ecuador, actually living in The Netherlands. I have learned here that lot of people is very misinformated about my country, so... if you have questions, I will be very happy to answer them (from my very personal point of view, it's always nice to hear other people's opinion) After 2 years living here and hearing all kind of complains from foreigners about The Netherlands in particular and Europe in general, I wonder how does foreigners see ecuadorians. Ok, that was it! Have fun and chao! |
