i have a question: I am planning to travel to Ecuador for three months and i do not have very much information about prices there. i heard that after an inflation the prices soared a lot. What is the average price-level for a not so comfortable room in an not so very expensive hotel in Ecuador? A guidebook from 1997 (before the introduction of the US Dollar) such prices were between 3 and 8 Dollars per person and night?
I woud be very pleased, if anyone gives me some information.
