Please send me some advice!!!

Hi everyone,
I'm a 20 year old girl who thought it would be nice to travell through South-America for a while (7 months). So I worked hard, saved a lot of money, told everyone what I was going to do and booked a ticket to Quito.
and then, today, I realized that in 6 weeks I'll come out of the plane and I'll be standing there in Quito, all alone and I
won't have a clue where to go or what to do.
HEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPPP !!!!!!!!!!
Please give me some advise !!!
If you can recomand any language schools (with family stays) or hostels or tours or whatever please let me know.

If you are coming down to Quito, Ecuador, well you picked the right place for adventure, above every thing selse that is great, we are currently having two active volcanoes in action. Ecuador is quite a beautifull country.
I am Ecuadorian but I grew up in L.A. so I am really an outsider here.
If you need any help down here I am more than happy to provide any inofrmation to you.
