Smile some informations about ecuador

Hi Marianne,

my name is Renato and I have been several times in Ecuador. here below I give you some suggestions about the places I have visited and where I like to Lodge.

Quito.
The Colonial Center is unique. If you like art don't miss the Guayasamin Museum and the street of Seven Churches (Siete Iglesias). I like to lodge at Hotel Santa Barbara

Andes.
A great place to stay is Black Sheep Inn
The Cloudforest

A unique ecosystem not so far from Quito(70km). It is really worth to visit.
You could stay at Reserva Ecologica Pachijal
Amazon Rainforest

You can't miss it. A great ecolodge is Sani Lodge

All the lodges are medium prize, you can also find something cheaper. A good website to visit in order to have informations about lodging is Ecuador Explorer

Here you can find the oficial website of Ministry of Tourism

I hope the informations will be useful. If you need some other information please let me know, I would be glad to help you to know this wonderful country.

All the best
Renato
