Our new International Airport opened on February 20th. Location will eliminate going through Quito our Capitol to reach Cotacachi and our neighboring cities. Travel will be much easier to the Northern part of Ecuador for residents and visitors alike. Ecuador has been named once again as the Number 1 city for retirement by International Living. A recent conference in Quito had a participation of over 450 people. This breathtaking crater lake is a vibrant blue and is believed by the indigenous to be bottomless. It has been measured up to 200 meters deep, but no one has been able to explore deeper. This is a must see if you are near Cotacachi, Ecuador!
