Since bigger cities in South America get a little loco for Carnival, Dennisse and I decided to take a nice retreat into the lush valleys of Vilcabamba. Internationally recognized for its high concentration of centenarians, the small town was still had a good share of tourists for the holidays. But with a huge amount of green space, we were able to get out of town and hang out with Mother Nature for a while.
