Echinopsis (Trichocereus ) Pachanoi [00:24]
Nicknamed the San Pedro Cactus, this fast growing columnar is native to the Andes Mountains, especially Peru and Ecuador. It has traditionally been used in medicine and other forms of healing. A popular ornamental cactus, it is now grown around the world. It can grow well above five metres tall, and produces lovely white flowers which open mostly at night.

Baños is one of my favorite places we have visited in Ecuador. We were only there for 2 days on this trip, but we managed to squeeze in a walking tour of the town, a trip to the zoo, a tarabita ride, several restaurants and of course the mineral baths. Check it out in my video.

Indigenous healing- Otavalo, Ecuador.AVI [01:27]
While in Otavalo, Ecuador I received a healing that was to a heal shock that the body and soul had suffered. One of my other friends had one too, and both of us felt very strange afterward, as if a deeper part of our beings was scrubbed and put back afresh.
