Hidden Honeymoon Gems - Quito, Ecuador [00:57]
Hidden Honeymoon Gems - Quito, Ecuador - part of the weddings video series by GeoBeats. For an urban yet a unique honeymoon destination, Quito is a metropolis and capital of Ecuador. Quito is divided into three sections, the northern modern district, the southern industrial district, and the central colonial district. The majority of the town's houses and buildings were built pre-dominantly in a Spanish style of architecture. It is blessed with superb architecture, elegant surroundings, and striking plazas. The foundations of this archaic town were laid in the 16th Century on the site of a previous Incan city. Quito is enveloped by fertile valleys, volcanic, and green mountains with lovely forestry, making it a true natural haven.
