Luna walking July 15th [01:16]
Luna hasn't been able to walk for 2 1/2 months. I'm pretty sure she was "seeing the light" the day I brought her home. I have been rehabbing her at my house; I had to start by lifting her head to eat for the first couple of days because she was so weak. The front legs started working soon but the back half of her body took quite a bit of time to get her to where she is now. She had various problems and I'm not sure, nor will I ever know, the order they all developed. She was starving, pretty sure she had distemper, horrible parasites, infected open sores on both her hips. I can't take all the credit for her recovery because I've had friends helping me. I thank everyone for the help, especially the 2 who recently watched her for 3 weeks while I was away. Thanks! I'm sure in a couple weeks she will be walking much better as she is a very determined girl.
