Boy Shining my cowboy boots in Quito, Ecuador [04:37]
While in the old city area of Quito, Ecuador everyone gets their shoes shined. I needed my boots shined so one day I let this young boy give my ostrich skins a shine. Not sure if they were worse or better after the job was finished but it was worth it to video the procedure. Most people have black shoes so all the rags and brushes were blackened, but he did have a small amount of tan polish. All his friends wanted to hang around and give the camera the finger.
