A team of scientists from Ecuador and the United States has documented that the Yasuni National Park is the most biodiverse area in South America. In addition, the new study details how the Yasuni breaks world records for a wide range of groups of plants and animals, from insects and amphibians to the trees. Cisneros-Heredia, Universidad San Francisco de Quito. "There are more species of frogs and toads in Yasuni that are native to the United States and Canada combined."
