While touring Ecuador (near Quito) in May of 2005 with MacEwan in Edmonton, Alberta. we visited a local school Jose of Collaqui School in Collaqui. MacEwan donated money for the purchase of traditional attire as part of the Nuestra Identidad Project (to educate youth about traditional culture and restore personal and community values). As a display of their gratitute, they performed a traditional dance for us.

Free video about drunk Indios dancing traditional dance near the Cuicocha lake in the Otavalo region. The men and women stomp in circles until they change direction. The moderator in the yellow shirt decides when it is time to turn. Others follow and have fun, while drinking very irresponsibly. Free food and drinks is offered at the festival, becasue all of those people are farmers and traders who organize this celebration by themselves.
