Wachimak, an indigenous community in the Ecuadorian Amazon.The indigenous people live in the forests of Ecuador and are used to the way things are. They hunt, fish, cultivate their own plants and consider nature as the ultimate gift by God. Their knowledge of flora and fauna is incredible. They produce their own medicines out of leaves and respect the bigger animals such as pythons, jaguars and alligators. Most of the communities are pretty basic and far away from urban life.
