Video #7 - Vilcabamba, Hosteria Izhcayluma - In hammock while it rained [02:01]
It was the rainy season in Ecuador from what I was told...and it rained each of the 22 days I was there, some days just a bit, but some days it rained almost the entire day. Again, this is not an exciting video, but intended to convey what it was like one afternoon, on the porch, overlooking the valley, in a hammock, watching it rain.

Mindo, Ecuador - Crossing "la tarabita" [01:34]
Located in Mindo, Ecuador, the tarabita, is basically a cage hung from a wire that is used to cross the jungle valley so you can get to the sanctuary of waterfalls on the other side. As you can see, you're high above the valley floor, so the ride is a little intimidating; but its also an extremely fun experience to be flying over the tree tops and see the river and everything else below. The waterfalls that you find on the other side are all very beautiful.
