Not long until South America now - Eek! Video travel blog number 1 [12:48]
It's February 29th 2012, only 2 days until I fly to Quito, Ecuador for a 10 month trip around South America. Am I organised yet? Even a teeny, tiny, ickle bit prepared? Not a chance. The first of what I hope will be plenty of video blogging whilst I'm away on what I'm sure will be the trip of a lifetime.

I (at least temporarily) conquer my fear of heights and walk across a wild rickety "bridge" that is built into the top of the cathedral ceiling. Then I climb three very steep ladders to get to the top of the tower in the Quito Basilica. This is the most bizarre cathedral I have ever been to by far. Incredible views though! A Quito 'must see'!
