A continental breakfast is served every morning using organic products from local farms. Originally, the hostel was a house for the owners 2 daughters, Maile and Naori, There were 6 rooms and the idea was to have a place to share holiday times with them. As time passed by, they became more independent and the house grew quiet and empty. This led to the idea of a place to accommodate the Santa Cruz growing tourist population. Making the most of its strategic location, the Mainao offers a comfortable stay, away from the downtown hustle and bustle.
